1 - His economic policy helped Germany out of the Great Depression. The funding of public works and inspiring the youth into volunteer work was very similar to Roosevelt’s New Deal policies to help the economy out of the Great Depression. He placed an heavy emphasis on industries to modernize them.

2 - The construction of the Reichsautobahn system that service as an example for President Eisenhower to use for funding the Interstate Highway system in the US. He had been part of the 1919 convoy that crossed the country from Washington DC to San Francisco. It took 56 days to this. Eisenhower saw the interstate highways as way to aid in national defense and provide economic boost at the same time.

After centuries of squabbling amongst themselves with increasingly deadly wars Europe was finally exhausted to the point they decided to get along with one another.

The world learned the danger of allowing despots the freedom to do as they wish and now move early to stop their aggression.

The war guilt created by Hitler's outrageous holocaust propelled the state of Israel into existence.

The League of Nations, Wilson's WWI dream, came into existence as the United Nations.

The United States gave up its prewar isolationism and moved into the forefront as a superpower just in time to balance the Soviet Union's bid for taking over the world.

The resulting Cold War eventually led to Hitler’s dream becoming a reality, the destruction of the Soviet Union.

With the exception of the Soviet Union the death knell of Imperialism was sounded as one colonial power after another was forced to relinquish its colonies. The Soviet Union was to be the last imperial power in the world.

The Nuremberg trials established the principle that a nation's leaders are responsible for starting wars of aggression and the defense of following orders is not a legitimate defense for those who commit warcrimes.

The world entered the Atomic age.

German scientists helped the US and the Soviet Union begin the exploration of space and put a man on the moon.

In the US the GI bill led to an explosion in University education and home ownership.

Eisenhower was so impressed by Germany's Autobahn system that he spearheaded the American interstate system that tied the nation together like never before.
