Tipu Sultan was the rule of kingdom of Mysore.He had a mission and and vision in life. He wanted to make his people enlightened and prosperous and wanted to liberate his land from colonial rule. His major achievements were-1. He laid the foundation of a dam where the famous Krishna Raja Sagara Dam was later built.2. He completed the project of Lal Bagh started by his father and build roads, buildings,and ports along kerala shoreline.3.He was a secular man and rule successfully and was very positive in inter-community relations.4.He improved agriculture and industry, promoted trade and commerce.5.
