Leaf has many adaptations for carrying out photosynthesis-
→ It has the green pigment called chloroplast present in the leaves and other green parts of the plant. Photosynthesis is carried out in the chloroplasts.
→ It has stomata for the gaseous exchange and for obtaining carbon dioxide required for photosynthesis.
→ It has tiny structures called hair roots present in the roots of the plant which absorbs water which is also required for the process of photosynthesis.
