Friendship is a strong feeling, very strong. It can even conquer love sometimes. Friendship is a gift that one cherishes throughout one's life, of course of a true friend's. Friendship is a teacher. We learn to distinguish between the good and the bad. It's true that no body on this earth in evil. It's just that they are not 'our type'.
Anyway, this was just a brief introduction. Moving on to your question.
Friendship is more of an asset than a liability. Hence it has got more advantages than disadvantages. Of course there can be problems and issues if one chooses a wrong friend and trusts him too much. But when we find a true friend, everything seems to be meaningful. Saying someone bestie, clicking pictures together everyday and posting them on social media and commenting with almost every possible hashtag related to friendship, etc is okay. But unless you feel it from your soul, nothing really matter.
People say friends are two bodies with a single soul. This might be true. But it is perfectly alright if it isn't. It's okay if your choices don't match, it's okay if you don't know what his/her favourite colour is, etc. If you love that person, eventually everything will be okay.
One can always rely on a 'true' friend when in need. They don't run away like some others who pretend to be your friend just for the sake of popularity. A 'true' friend understands you, listens to you and lends a shoulder to you. Their eyes fill your darkest nights with light and happiness. They smile cheers you up from inside.
Regarding fights, it is common between best friend, only if they don't last long. If it does remember something is not right with your friendship. Best friends have the right to abuse you, hit you or say whatever and if you're not affected by them much them be pretty sure that this person is definitely the one whom you should count on.
