Advantages:

1) Easier work/ less labour required.

2) More yield per acre.

3) Man can cultivate on as much as land required.

4) use of pesticides to prevent wastage of crops

5) using of newly developed GMO's genitically modified crops to increase yield/pesticide resistance

Disadvantages:

1) Loss of jobs for lower section.

2) using of pesticides causes various diseases / allergies in consumers.

3) Damage caused to the environment.

4) On long term use causes land to become infertile.

5) Increases stress on land which causes faster exhaustion of resources
