Advantages of wholesale markets :-

⭕Produce protection :- Goods are protected from the elements like :- wind , air , sun . and stored under more hygienic condition , thus reducing spoilage.

⭕Improved handlling operations :- The market considerably reducing loading and unloading times as well as repeated handling of goods between unloading and display ; vehicles are also parked and unutilized for shorter periods.

Disadvantages of Wholesale markets :-

⭕Production consistency :- As wholesaling scales up and wholesale take on more customers , there is an increasing need for production consistency.

⭕Limiting quantity :- Wholesale contracts often come attached with limited quantity that must be purchased or the order will not be fulfilled.
