What are the advantages of a map over a globe?

Map is a flat paper containing the locations of a place and describing the place with a sigh or symbol.Its can be rolled or folded and can easily fit anywhere but its not the same with a globe.It is a hard sphere which can be placed only at one place and is difficult to manage it if its taken out anywhere since it doesn't fit right anywhere and the places marked on it with sings doesn't give the correct data.

In the geographical studies and research works,maps and globes are used for almost same purpose.

Both are used for watching and locating different places on the earth.

But maps are more preferable because of it's portability,map is just a piece of paper which we can carry to anywhere,but globes are large spherical solid object which is very difficult to carry around.
