Answer: u get more power

anthony1290: because it gets power direcktly
beautyandbrains: No, it’s actually because then each of the loads connected get equal amount of current. This has nothing to do with power
beautyandbrains: if in series the amount of resistance will be extremely high resulting in unequal distribution of current through all the loads
anthony1290: yes but if it haves a more direct line then distributing power to all lines
beautyandbrains: Firstly there is nothing known as more direct line and secondly power had nothing to do with it. The lesser the power consumed by a load the better, so why would people opt for an arrangement with more power consumption?

Answer:

The following are the advantages of joining electrical devices in parallel with a battery:

-The potential difference across all appliances is same as that of the battery.

-If one appliances becomes faulty, current will not pass through that branches to ensure the running of the other appliances.

-Different appliances need current values to work satisfactorily.
