Advantages of federalism-
1. It increases the participation of the citizens and to have an indirect control over the government, as they would vote to choose them.
2. It helps in the separation of powers thus the power of the government is diffuse as the government doesn't have direct control on the country and its divided into three branches.
3. It provides more protection over the rights of the individual.
4. It supports the idea of unity in diversity, so that the people are not differentiated on the basis of their religion, caste, creed, sex etc.
5. Due to this the governance becomes easier as in this the country is split up to different ranks and different people take care of their own areas.
6. It helps in managing the conflict issues.
7. Makes the Nation more united.
8. It makes a country more developed as it helps in good economic growth and performance of the government.
