HYDERABAD: Former Union minister of state, Rajya Sabha member Sujana Chowdary made interesting remarks on Visakhapatnam steel plant on Friday.
Addressing the media he said that the Union government had taken a decision to privatise the Visakhapatnam steel plant in a view to attract more investments. Addressing the media in Hyderabad he said that shareholders will get benefit out of this move. The process of privatization began in the country in the 90s , the steel plant will remain there, jobs will be there only, he said.
He said that because of agitations by the YSRCP and TDP the privatization will not stop “ Government has taken a decision to not engage in any kind of business related activities pertaining to the steel plant.
Another former minister Suresh Prabhu though he represents Rajya Sabha from Andhra Pradesh he could not speak Telugu, but soon he will learn to speak Telugu. He said the results of the budget will be seen in a positive manner soon.
