What are the advantages of the fact that most reflex actions are governed by spinal cord?

because spinal cord work fastly than the brain in matter of reflex action and other autonomic nervous system

well you know actions taken from brain need thinking and thus takes time and brain already has a ton of work to do... but reflx action are quick and are in response to stimuli and does not require thinking this makes it fast and that's what makes it effective ... for example quickly withdrawing of hands when in contact with hot or sharp object
