The advantages of Power Sharing are as follows:-

a) Prudential reasons :-

i) It reduces the possibility of conflicts among various social groups.

ii) It helps in checking violence and civil war.

iii)It maintains stability in a political order.

iv)It also helps in checking dominance of majority groups.

b) Moral reasons

i) It is the basic spirit of democracy.

ii)It ensures the participation of people in the system.

iii)It leads to better outcomes in a democratic society.

iv)It encourages healthy relationships in a society.
