What are the Advantages of transition state theory over collision theory...???

Very less amount of energy is needed for the chemical change to occur when a catalyst is involved in the collision between the reactant molecules so more collisions have sufficient energy for a reaction to take place. Therefore the reaction rate increases. This theory is closely related to chemical kinetics.......
