What are the Advantages of using dihydrogen as a fuel?

Benefits include: Fuel cells have a higher efficiency than diesel or gas engines. Most fuel cells operate silently, compared to internal combustion engines.  Fuel cells can eliminate pollution caused by burning fossil fuels; for hydrogen fuelled fuel cells, the only by-product at point of use is water

advantages

high calorific value

It is a clean fuel as it does not produce gases that cause pollution

disadvantages

explosive in nature

difficult to store and transport
hydrogen does not produce any smoke or carbondioxide. therefore, it is advantageous......but hydrogen is highly inflammatory..it can catch fire even with a small mistake....therefore, it is dangerous to use it as a household fuel
