ADVANTAGE OF USING MANURES

They are compost is a natural fertilizer.

To make manure, waste of plants and animals is decomposed by farmers.

The product of this decomposition is an organic substance rich in material which we call compost.

Composting does not contain high content of nutrients.

Instead, it gives fertility to the soil by adding humus (organic organic compounds).

This improves the physical properties of the soil with better retention of moisture and more aeration.

ADVANTAGE OF USING FERTILISERS ―

Fertilizers are natural or synthetic materials that we add to soil to provide plants with nutrients they need.

They can be organic or inorganic in nature.

They work by providing plants and crops with nutrients which they need to grow more fully and faster than getting them through a natural process.

Chemical based fertilizers also work as a pesticide protecting plants from insects and insects.
