The Forest conservation act 1980 was enacted to help conserve the country's Forest .It strictly restricts and regulates the de - reservation of Forest of use of Forest land for no Forest purposes with out the prior approval of Central gavarnament.

The main AIM of FOREST ACT is the protection and conservation of forest and trees , as Forest is a big and important habitat of various fauna and floura.

  • Forest are socially as well as economically important for us as they provide us our flora and fauna with several economically important component i.e, timber,glue,paper ,etc.
  • FOREST ACT  was enforced in year 1980 by Parliament of India .
