I really don't know where the two previous poor reviewers are coming from - perhaps they are so-called animal rights activists? Our experience yesterday was nothing short of a great and very memorable experience. OK, Chris the owner doesn't say much but he was quite courteous and once you engage with him in the right way he is really interesting and worth listening to. Young Tom, who took us on the walk with the birds, was brilliant; very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Had these last two reviewers listened properly to what they were told about the care and handling of the birds of prey, they should have understood why for instance the jesses are so short, and why some birds are caged away from the others.

From what we saw, the birds are all looked after very well and Chris does not turn away any birds brought to him who are in need of re-housing - his love of the birds is very obvious. OK,n some of the 'accommodation' looks a bit shabby in places but it is not dangerous and anyway, it must be a very costly enterprise. The centre does a great job in looking after animals which otherwise would have to be destroyed.

So, please ignore the 'bad' reviews and have a great day there, and in addition give the centre the support it really deserves.
