Conductors in electrostatic equilibrium • The electric field is zero at all points within the conductor. • Any excess charge resides entirely on the exterior surface. • The external electric field is perpendicular to the surface and of magnitude h/P0, where h is the surface charge density. • The electric field is zero inside any hole within a conductor unless there is a charge in the hole.

Hey !

______________________________

Electrostatic equillbrium measns no means of flow of electricity in and electric field.

Conductor means the object or that allows electrons move freely from one atom to the another one.

Net electric field inside the the electrostatic equilibrium is always zero.

The conductor contains or possess free charge in the atom.

In electrostatic equillbrium the charge is static as it doesn't move any where.
