what are the applications of pressure?

Heya Friend :-

There are Lot of application of pressure , Like Industrialization, Daily Life etc etc.
I am sharing some daily life applications  :-

Like (i) When we breathe the atmospheric pressure of 15 lbs at sea level causes the oxygen to pass through the semi permeable membrane .

(ii) cleaning vacuum used in our homes are again working on the same principle of lower pressure .

(iii) Blood pressure checking machines are also used in for measuring pressure in medical cause.

(iv) At last atmospheric pressure would play a big role in maintaining a constant flow of water , get it.

APPLICATIONS OF PRESSURE

1) Buses and trucks usually have double wheels on the rear side.

2) High rise buildings and dams have wide base.

3) Railway tracks are laid on large sized wooden sleepers.

Above examples shows that pressure is decreased by increasing the surface area of an object.

4) It is easier to cut with a sharp knife than a blunt knife.

5) Nails; pins and spikes have pointed edges.

Above examples shows that pressure is increasd by decreasing the surface area of an object.
