The arrangement of water in olden days were like that,
some people saved rain water in big containers, and in ponds, and used the water for their daily need, but many more people used water that had collected naturally in streams, rivers, and in the ground. They get groundwater flowing by in rivers, or coming up from underground through a spring. Some times they dig deep well into the ground to find water. thus they satisfied their need of water.
