The Basic Concepts of Trigonometry are as follows-
Sine(sin) = Opposite/Hypotenuse
Cosine(cos) = Adjacent/Hypotenuse
Tangent() = Opposite/Adjacent
Cosecant,Secant and Cotangents are just the Opposites Of Sine,Cosine and Tangent Respectively

Trigonometry is about the relation between Angles and sides of Any right angle triangle.

Like,,,

sin =opposite/hypothesis

cos=adjacent/hypothesis

tan=adjacent/opposite

sec=1/cos

cosec=1/sin

cot=1/tan
