The primary function of a government is to effectively administer a country. It looks into a plethora of functions and acts as an all-encompassing body that oversees every aspect. In my opinion, here are some ideals governments strive towards:
- Governments facilitate commerce by forging alliances with countries that offer prospective markets for trade. The Legislative branch is given this responsibility.
- They maintain law and order in the country. The Judiciary specifically deals with this aspect.
- They ensure that all their citizens have access to fundamental human rights. (i.e Right to education) These are the birthrights of every human, and have been drafted by the UN.
