Heterotrophic Mode of Nutrition -

Organisms cannot produce their food themselves, but they depend on plants and animals for their nutrition.

For Example - In Animals and Human Being.

• Respiration is the process which involves intake of oxygen from outside and breaking down of nutrients molecules to produce energy.

Two types of respiration

Aerobic Respiration :

It releases ethyl alcohol or lactic acid and less amount of energy.

It occurs only in cytoplasm of cell like yeast.
