1)first effort is made to minimize the harmful impact or effect of that disease on human health.

2)then , through certain methods like introduction of killed germs, or weakened germs , the disease is eliminated or removed.

3)then, through certain anti biotics, the body is provided with immunity so that the particular disease does not harm that person next time.
