There are none.

Sometimes new mountains are formed but generally it's just mass destruction.

Earthquake is manifestation of a subtle process of the inherent geodynamics of the earth. We all know earthquakes only by its violent manifestation of shaking on the earth due to which it is assigned a “destructive” character. No doubt, it is one of the most common outlet for the release of the inherent stress build-up from within, it has its own pros and cons. Nature has its own way of re-arranging the morphology and earthquake has a major role to play in this. Some of the benefits of the paleo-earthquakes which we derive now are :

1. Changed river courses resulting in new settlement and development of new areas.

2. Creation of precious metallic minerals as vein deposits possibly associated with ancient volcanic eruption accompanied by earthquakes (all such mineral zones have major faults within mineralized zone)

3. Radio-active sand deposits brought ashore by tsunamis.

4. Changed landscape by way of ground upliftment or rifting is also associated with paleo earthquakes. They now derive increased scenic attraction or mining activity.

However, considering the negative effects, benefits from earthquakes are just minuscule in number.

infernapecelestia: It's dose have some pros but they cause large scale destruction and the mentioned 'pros' could also be cons
infernapecelestia: Like
infernapecelestia: 1) I desserted village that depends on that river for water could be gone
infernapecelestia: 3) Radio-active deposit could be used for research
