Democracies give people a chance to become personally involved with their government.

Because the government in a democracy is under the control of the people and their voice, then it is up to each individual to decide their fate. People can choose to vote in whatever way their morality dictates. Some even give voters the option to not vote if that is what they feel is the best way to express their opinion

Benefits u say , there are tonns on paper ,but only about 10–20 in reality.

1)U get to almost ,just almost live equally in society (as if )

2) Ur vote is as valuable as any other guy (as if )

3)U have got freedom to express ur feelings (better than Communist nations I must say but still , as if)

4)People have all the power (as if)

5) Its a government of the people (a bit) , by the people (a bit) , for the people (as if )

6) It looks after if the system doesn't hurt ur livelihood ,means its more humanitarian (OK I gotta say its a lot better it here than Communism)

7) Minority can have their say , (nah nah , in India , if ur minority is violent u will be more valued than peace loving ones , and minority shouldn't be that minor that becomes invaluable as vote bank)

8) Fair Elections and (more) free judiciary so that politicians works right way ,and don't mal practice or mis use their position ( I'm still laughing )10) Govt listens to u , (only if u fire urself in petrol near India gate ,or sit in front of BBC headquarters painting urself black its a new way try it)
