What are the by-products of sugar industry??

sanketjoshi: The main by-products are bagasse, molasses and press mud.

The other products and their by-products of less commercial value are green leaves and tops, trash, boiler ash and effluent generated by sugar industry and distillery.

The major by-products of sugar production are molasses, beet pulp, bagasse fiber, and cane wax. Cane and beet molasses are the syrups that remain after the sugar has been crystallized out
