east India is one of the major causes of its
less economic development.
1. Less Importance by Central
Government: - Here is the main deal,
political parties and government always
care for their own political interest.
The regions or the states take less
importance to them, where they have a
very less political interest.
The same thing happening at present in
the perspective of the north-eastern
region
Because of fewer seats in the Indian
parliament, the ruling party does not care
too much for them as they care for other
states of the Indian union. {Such as Utter
Pradesh, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu,
Maharashtra
So, less importance less investment and
less investment low industrial
development

defining all the leaders are the corrupt or
low character; of course there are so many
good leaders in north-east too and also
they are using their powers for its
development.
But against the good number of leaders,
there are also too many bad character
people leading the region too, they are
mostly from different political parties.
They are highly corrupt, uneducated and
many characterless. You can ask yourself,
how they can lead and think about these
heavy issues like industrial development.
Probably, 99.9% will not. Instead of
development, they will harm even more.
So, leaders' personality is also one of the
major causes of less industrial
development in north-east India.
3. Technical Skill Problem: - No matter
what type of industries are growing but
one main thing very common in all, which
is the technical skill.
Each and every industry requires technical
skill but in north-east, most of the people
are technically very weak.
Because of this technical backwardness
investors, little bit hesitates to invest in
here. On the other hand, if they invest then
they will have to hire labors from some
other places.
4. Transport and Communication Issue:
Good transport and good communication
system always play a major role in making
a place more industrial and more
developed
If you live in a town area then you can't
experience this issue but I can tell you 7
out of 10 places in north-east are not
compatible with better transport and
communication.
