Cause of deforestation is to make more land available for housing and urbanisation and the half of the trees are illegally removed from the forests are used a fuel etc.

It is necessary to conserve our natural vegetation because

due to the existence of natural vegetation we get oxygen to survive,food to eat,woods to make shelters as well as it provides livelihood for the other animals too.

so it need to preseve to maintain the ecological balance of the Earth.
