Deforestation will lead to less consumption of carbon dioxide from the air and less production of oxygen into the air which will make it very hard for the inhabitants to survive in that region. Also, deforestation would bring less and lesser rains eventually bringing no rains making the area nothing more than a desert. The animal inhabitants will lose their shelter. Less production of fruits will take place. The city won't look beautiful with all towers and buildings and no greenery or trees.
