It arises from differences in gender roles. Gender systems are often dichotomous and hierarchical. Women lag behind men in many aspects including education, labour market, opportunities, political representation and in pay.

• The main cause is the religion
• The other causes are the society
• The social and political leaders are responsible
• Many other causes are there like competition and human development
• But in my opinion religion is the main cause.
