a) In 1940, the Muslim League had moved a resolution demanding "independent states" for Muslims.
b) From the late 1930s , the League began viewing the Muslims as a separate nation from the Hindus.
c)The provincial elections of 1937 seemed to have convinced the League that Muslims will always have to play a side role in any democratic structure because they were minority.
d)Elections to the provinces were held again in 1946, in which the seats reserved by the Muslims was spectacular.
e) It persisted with its demand for Pakistan.
f) After the failure of Cabinet mission, the Muslim League decided on mass agitation for winning its Pakistan demand.
