• industrial waste is dumped into the rivers after utilization .

•use of chemical fertilizers by the farmers for the production of crops such as use of urea as a nitrogenous fertilizer ( NH2)2CO

• deforestation also effects the water pollution as the trees clear the air and intake CO2 which clears the atmosphere and the water is cleaned
