Heavy metals that disposed off and industrial waste can accumulate in lakes and rivers , proving harmful to humans and animals .

Causes of water pollution:-

The principal sources of water pollution resulting from exploration and production operations are:-

  • Domestic wastage
  • Sewage system
  • Solid waste
  • Industrial waste
  • Acid rain
  • Oil Industry
  • Aquatic land

➡️Water pollution can be defined as presence of solid , liquid or gases containment princes concentrations that may alter the quantity of water .

➡️ Dumping sold waste and littering by humans In rivers ,lakes and oceans.

➡️Water pollution occurs when energy and other materials are realised into water , contaminating the quality of Water.

Water pollution effects:-

  • Diseases like cholera and malaria.
  • Typhoid etc.
