1. )  candidates and parties have a lot of money may not be sure of their victory , but they do enjoy an advantages oer the smaller parties and independent candidates .

2.)  In some parts of the country , candidates with criminal connection have been able to secure a ticket from major parties .

3.)  some families tend to dominate the political parties . Ticket are distributed to members of these families .

4.)  smaller parties and independent candidates suffer a huge disadvantages as compared to the bigger parties .
