Lal Bahadur Shastri was appointed as prime minister after the death of Jawaharlal Nehru ji so people were in a dilemma that the new Prime Minister would take care as like as the Jawaharlal Nehru ji did so Lal Bahadur Shastri took care of the people and he also cleared the dispute of language Tamil for the Civil exams and finally gave that English would be the connecting language or lingua franca for the country exams and the state can use its language as secondary language
