Non-biodegradable wastes either take intensely long periods of time to decompose or don't decompose at all. This leads to pollution of air, water and land. Thewastes may be detrimental to living organisms and overall climate by causing respiratory illnesses and suffocation etc.

present generations depends largely on non-bidegradable waste which has increased the accommodation of these plastic and polyphenols in the environment and led to its degradation..
