♦ Hair growth in armpits and pubic region.
♦ Enlargement of pelvic region and fat deposition in hil and thigh region.
♦ Voice becomes sweet.
♦ Body does not become muscular.
♦ Fallopian tubes and uterus gets enlarged.
♦ The lining of uterus undergoes regular changes, initiating menstruation and ovulation.
♦ The changes are brought about by the hormones, esteogen and progesterone, produced by ovary and corpus luteum.


✴ Changes in boys :

♦ Hair growth on the face, chest, armpits, pubic region, legs and arms.
♦ No enlargement and fat deposition around pelvic region.
♦ Larynx enlarges and voice deepens.
♦ Body becomes muscular and shoulders broaden.
♦ Scrotum and prostate gland get enlarged and activated.
♦ No periodic changes iccus in the lining of organs.
♦ These changes are brought about by hormones, testosterone, produced by testes.
