What are the changes observed in the writer’s attitude from the time her house is

The narrator was firstly very sad and upset after loosing hi beloved cat which was missing since the house went on fire.
Other than that narrator finally got a new perspective of looking at life.He realised that we should fight with the trying circumstances with confidence rather than being upset and getting nervous about it.
This changes helped narrator to finally make new friends at his new school.
