Water to ice.
Ice melting to water.
Water heated to steam.
Steam condensing to water.
Sugar dissolving into water.
Salt dissolving into water.
Lead melting to form a lead weight or a bullet.
Pretty much any change that does not involve the chemical structure change or alteration of an item is a physical change. That is if you only change the state or form of something. A violent reaction, like burning, neutralizing or where some gas is given off, bubbling, or heat being produced by itself is a chemical reaction. Also, if different substances are mixed together and it suddenly gets very cold then, that's another example of a chemical, albeit endothermic, reaction. Basically, if you can easily undo what you've just done, then it's physical.

PHYSICAL CHANGE

\huge\bf{\underline\green{Answer}}

➡️A physical change is a change to the physical—as opposed to chemical—properties of a substance. They are usually reversible.

➡️Physical changes are changes affecting the form of a chemical substance, but not its chemical composition.

➡️In a physical change appearance or form changes, but substance remains same.

➡️Common Physical Changes are:-

Texture:-The texture of a substance can differ with a physical change.

Colour:- The changing of color of a substance is not necessarily an indicator of a chemical change.

Temperature:- Although we cannot see temperature change, unless if a change of state is occurring, it is a physical change.

Shape.

➡️Eg:- Ice on melting converts to water. Water on evaporation converts to water vapor. All the products formed are still forms of water. Hence, this is a physical change.
