The characteristics of alluvial soil are:-)
1 The alluvial soil is consists of various proportion of sand ,silt and clay.
2 According to their age alluvial soil is classified as old alluvial (bhangar) and new alluvial (khaddar).
3 Alluvial soil is the most fertile soil it contain adequate proportion of potash, phosphoric acid and lime, which are ideal for the growth of sugarcane, paddy, wheat etc.
