The characteristics of planet earth that makes it habitable are air , water ,land and right tempoerature.

Explanation:

The earth is the only planet in the solar system on which life exists. This is possible due to the conditions required to support life found on it. These conditions are air, land, water, and the right temperature.

Air:

  • The earth is surrounded by a layer of air called the atmosphere. The air we breathe comes from this layer.
  • Earth's atmosphere is made up of gases such as nitrogen (78%), oxygen (21%), carbon dioxide, and other gases (1%). These gases support life on the earth.

LAND:

  • The land is referred to as the solid surface of the landmass that humans use for most purposes such as living, cultivation, etc.
  • The earth's land surface has various landforms, such as mountains, hills, valleys, plateaus, plains, deserts, and islands.

WATER:

  • Water is one of the main components that make our life possible on earth.
  • Every living organism depends on water for several purposes, such as drinking, bathing, cleaning, etc.
  • About 70% of the earth's surface is covered with water. Thus, it is also known as Blue Planet.

Right temperature:

  • Despite all these conditions, the right temperature is also the main factor that affects our lives.
  • The earth is neither too far from the sun nor too close. Therefore, the earth's atmosphere has the right temperature for life to exist.
