V͟͟e͟͟r͟͟t͟͟e͟͟b͟͟r͟͟a͟͟t͟͟e͟͟s and invertebrates are animals that belongs to the phylum Chordata of the Kingdom Animalia / metazoa. Vertebrates and invertebrates do have notochord. But in vertebrates it is modified in to v͟͟e͟͟r͟͟t͟͟e͟͟b͟͟r͟͟a͟͟l͟͟ c͟͟o͟͟l͟͟u͟͟m͟͟n.

Vertebrates are differentiated by having a vertebral column.All vertebrates have a similar anatomy, morphology with the same qualifying characteristics, a notochord, a dorsal hollow nerve cord,pharyngeal slits,examples are human, dogs,birds,frog,fish,lizard etc.
