what are the child labour law in Pakistan
Answers
Answer:
As a federal policy, Pakistan's government has banned hazardous labor under age 14, military service under 18, and implemented compulsory education to age 16. In addition, Pakistan has legally abolished all child labor in forced or indentured servitude, something that did play a role in the nation's past.

Human life itself is cheaper than money in Pakistan and this is solely due to abject poverty, ignorance and widespread illiteracy in rural areas where people prefer to 'sell' their children into slavery for money or drugs. Many times the parents cannot feed their children but due to no family planning, have a brood of children who are sent off to madrassas and/or charities like Edhi centres. The rest is self explanatory. While Edhi centres do a good job of raising such 'orphans' whose parents are alive, you can well imagine the abuse these children go through in dubiously funded Madrassas just so they can 'eat' three times a day.
Think about it, if the parents in the lower class of the society are not interested in protecting their children, viewing them as chattels or commodities to be sold and abused, how can we even begin with ending child labour or even trying to pinpoint laws or a constitutional basis of banning it?
