Our nervous system is classified into :

1. The central nervous system which includes the brain and the spinal cord.

2. The peripheral nervous system which includes all the nerves.

The peripheral nervous system is responsible for bringing the impulses to the CNS and carrying the responses from it as well.

While CNS does the work of integrating the impulses and sending a response via a motor nerve.
