EXPLANATION.

Graph of the equation.

⇒ 4x - 3y = 11.

As we know that,

Put the value of x = 0 in the equation, we get.

⇒ 4(0) - 3y = 11.

⇒ - 3y = 11.

⇒ 3y = - 11.

⇒ y = - 11/3.

⇒ y = - 3.66.

Their Co-ordinates = (0,-3.66).

Put the values of y = 0 in the equation, we get.

⇒ 4x - 3(0) = 11.

⇒ 4x = 11.

⇒ x = 11/4.

⇒ x = 2.75.

Their Co-ordinates = (2.75,0).

The point of intersection with x-axis = (2.75,0).

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

any point on the x axis is x,0

so satisfying this in the equation

4x-3(0)=11

4x=11

x=11/4

so 4x-3y=11 will intersect x axis at (11/4,0)
