The colour of FeSO4 and CuSO4 depend on the positive ions i.e.Fe (+2) and Cu (+2). Fe (+2) ion has a pale green colour whereas Cu (+2) ion when reacted with water gives blue colour. Anyhdrous CuSo4 is white in colour and turns to blue only when rehydrated
