Before fire:

• Keep trees and shrubs close to area trimmed and unobstructed – in case of emergency keep the trees and shrubs trimmed to avoid loss and also to avoid obstruction to the smoke.
• Maintain ventilator openings – keep ventilators to the maximum so that the smoke will go outside faster.
• Lock metal lids for extra protection. – Metals are conductors of electricity keep them closed for extra protection.
During fire:
• Immediately pull the nearest fire alarm – when you know that you are in danger of fire pull the nearest alarm.
• Evacuate the building as soon as possible – quick evacuation should be done without delay.
• Keep ventilators open – make sure to keep the ventilators open in case of emergency.
• Stay low to the ground if there is smoke - keep yourself low to the ground to stay away from smoke inhalation.
