acid rain occurs because of Sulphur dioxide and nitrogen dioxide.

acid rani result when Sulphur dioxide (so2) and nitrogen oxide(NOx) are emitted into the atmosphere and transported by wind and air current. the So2 and Nox react with water oxygen and other chemicals to form Sulphuric and nitric acid this then mixed with water and other materials used for falling to the ground .
