Blood:-

Blood is a fluid inside our body which helps in the transportation of oxygen  and other waste materials in our body.8% of the body mass is blood.

                                                               

Components of blood:-

Blood consists of Red Blood Cells(RBC) White blood cells (WBC),Plasma, Platelets.

Red Blood Cells(RBC):-Red Blood Cells contains a pigment called hemoglobin which brings it red in color .It helps in carrying oxygen to the lungs and the whole body and also helps in the exhalation of the Carbon-di-oxide.

White Blood cells(WBC):-The use of white blood cells is to protect us from diseases it helps in keeping the immune system strong it fights against disease causing organisms.

Plasma:-Plasma is a watery liquid in our blood it is about 55% of our blood and mostly composed of water.

Platelets:-Platelets are colorless cells in our blood it helps to stop clotting of blood.
